Out of the abundance of caution, following recommendations of CDC, the First Selectman and observing Governor’s event guidelines in the times of COVID-19, the Friends of the Morris Public Library and the Library Board of Directors have made a difficult decision to POSTPONE their Spring Gala and Auction.

POSTPONED -The Friends and the Board of Directors of the Morris Public Library will host their Spring Gala and Auction at South Farms, 21 Higbie Rd., Morris, CT on Sunday, March 29, at 2 p.m.-5 p.m. The gala will offer wine, refreshments and live music (included with a $20.00 admission). The live and silent auction at the event, presided over by Morris resident Ed Dorsett, will include unique gift baskets, gift certificates and goods from local vendors, valuables and fine art. Special auction entries: the Winvian Resort and the Litchfield Inn Overnight Stays, the famous Mystery Quest Box (see where the winner would travel this year!) and more.

We are not just an art-focused event any more – we have a variety to offer!

The tickets to the event are available at Eventbrite, at the Library (available now!) and at the door.

We accept credit/debit cards at the event!

All proceeds will benefit the Library.
