Half Day Fun with Morris Public Library and Morris Beach and Recreation, March 18, 19, 20, 12:30 PM – 2 PM.
We are thrilled to collaborate with Morris Beach and Recreation once again to bring our Morris / JMS Community this exciting programming opportunity – 1/2 Day Fun!
Registration is required: ActivitiesAssistant@morrisct.gov.
During each scheduled half day of March, you’ll find a program offering
that begins at 12:30 pm.
The programming is open to students in grades K – 5 with limited spots available for each program. Advance registration is required.
Registration for 1/2 Day Fun can be made by emailing Morris Beach & Recreation. Register for one of the programs or all three! It’s completely up to you!
All programs will be held at Community Hall.
Students will be picked up at James Morris School by Beach and Recreation
and / or Library staff and escorted across the street to Community Hall (Morris Town Hall).
We’ll enjoy a drink and a snack along with that day’s scheduled program.
Parents may pick up their child directly from Community Hall promptly at 2:00 pm.

“Yo-Yo Guy!”
John Higby, The Yo-Yo Guy, is an interactive performance with yo-yos, unicycle, and a giant yo-yo that John walks on! Kids will experience a yo-yo workshop after the performance and take home their own yo-yo!
Thursday, March 19 ~ 12:30 pm-2:00 pm
“Lego Fun!”
Participants will have the opportunity to build their very own Lego kit to take home. We will also have time to free style a Lego creation. It’s a Lego filled afternoon!
Friday, March 20 – 12:30 pm-2:00 pm
“Stories, Crafts and Activities!”
Participants will read books, create themed crafts and participate in a movement activity.
